Artisan Goods are produced using various Farm Tools--stationary structures assembled by the player that process raw ingredients into a refined product.
Most Artisan Goods do not seem to have quality ratings (except for cheese and mayonnaise: using large milks or large eggs produces a gold star quality) and the quality of the raw material does seem to affect the selling price of the refined good.
Many Artisan Goods can be used in crafting recipes (mostly cooking).
