The Axe is a starting tool used for cutting down trees, branches, stumps,etc. Which all give Wood. It can also be used to harvest other objects, most notably giant crops, and although it does small amount of damage the Axe can be used as a weapon
The axe can be upgraded at the Blacksmith, which allows the axe to break harder types of logs. Such as the log outside the secret woods which allows to access it. (with a steel axe)
