Use[]

The Hoe is used to till soil to plant seeds for crops. Using it will partially give the player farming experience, and higher level farming results in less energy loss when used.

Upgrades[]

The player can upgrade their hoe at the blacksmith using five metal bars. The blacksmith will take your tool for two days while the upgrade occurs.

Basic[]

The hoe the player start with, only tills one square at a time in front of the player.

Copper[]

  • Requires five copper bars and 2000g.
  • Allows tilling up to three squares of soil in front of the player
  • Hold down the button to "wind it up"

Iron[]

  • Requires five iron bars and 5000g
  • Allows tilling up to five squares of soil in front of the player.
  • Hold down the button to "wind it up"

Gold[]

  • Requires five gold bars and 10,000g
  • Allows tilling up to 3x3 squares of soil in front of the player.

Iridium[]

  • Requires five Iridium Bars and 25,000G
  • Allows tilling up to 3X6 squares of soil in front of the player

Other Uses[]

Keeping the hoe in the player’s inventory is useful when wandering around town. Small patches of dirt along the roads and beach may have three "squirming worms" in them. Tilling these spots will yield clay, stone, missing books, and sometimes other treasures.
