Krobus does not appear to have any familial connections, yet he closely resembles an enemy encountered in the mines beginning at level 90. In one of his dialogue choices, he states that he is "-not like the others," indicating that he is distinct from the other creatures found in the mine.

Shop

Krobus's shop remains open at all times, including during festival days.

Relationships

Krobus typically remains hidden from view and does not engage with other villagers. He harbors a strong aversion to dwarves, citing a recently concluded millennium-long conflict between his kind and theirs. Krobus fears that if the dwarves were to discover his location, they would dispatch an assassin to eliminate him.

The Wizard recognizes Krobus's situation and takes measures to avert any potential confrontations.

Gifts

You can give Krobus up to two gifts per week (plus one on his birthday), which will raise or lower his friendship with you. Gifts on his birthday (Winter 1) will have 8× effect and show a unique dialogue.

Moving In

Although Krobus isn't suitable for marriage. He can still move to your farm as a roomate. Once you have obtained 10 hearts with Krobus, you can give him a Void Shell Pendant. He'll ask you where you found it. After 3 day's he will show up at your farm. Interacting with Krobus allows you to hug him.

Heart Events

After 3 hearts, Krobus will send you a the recipe for a dark sign with the follwing

Trivia

• Krobus states that his name means "bridge-crosser" in his language.
• Krobus hates being gifted a Strange Bun, despite Shadow Brutes in the mines dropping them.
• Krobus states that he remains silent on Fridays out of respect for Yoba. His normal Friday dialogue is simply "...". Krobus will speak on Fridays under certain circumstances.

• Krobus' Tuesday dialogue changed from "I am too sensitive to sunlight to go out during the day." to "I am too sensitive to sunlight to go out on most days." with v1.3 This change is most likely due to the addition of the "A Winter Mystery" Quest, in which a "Shadow Guy" is seen outdoors during Winter.
