The Lightning Rod creates a Battery Pack 24 hours after getting hit by lightning during a storm. It must be on the farm to create a Battery Pack, and has no preventative use (i.e. does not prevent crops from being struck by lightning during storms).

Lightning Rods can be crafted or obtained as a reward from the 10,000 Bundle in the Vault.
