The Midnight Carp is a fish that can be caught in the mountain lake and the Cindersap Forest pond during Fall and Winter late at night. It can also be caught on many of the non-standard Farm Maps: Forest, Riverland, Wilderness, and the large pond on the Four Corners Map. It can also be caught during any season in Ginger Island North and West (freshwater).
Midnight Carp can be caught regardless of time of day or season using Magic Bait.
Dyeing
Midnight Carp can be used in dyeing, serving as a purple dye at the dye pots, located in Emily's and Haley's house, 2 Willow Lane.
