The Modding community for Stardew Valley has grown siginificantly since the games release, and with the use of a modding AP many mods can be added through the JSON format.

Modding Info and Tools[]
There are two types of mods, API and XNB. XNB directly changes the games files, this can lead to instability and issues with the game. API mods install a patch that allows the game to load mod files independent from game files.
