The Mysterious Figure can be occasionally and very briefly observed walking at a fast pace between bushes and trees during the night. A much larger version can be occasionally seen walking across the entire map of the Secret Woods, sometimes starting outside the map region just north of the Wizard's Tower in Cindersap Forest.

The silhouette of the Mysterious Figure closely resembles Sasquatch (folk name “Big Foot”), who is a large and hairy mythical humanoid whose existence in the Pacific-Northwest forests of the US and forests of Canada has long been debated in folklore, and has become a renowned subject among pop culture.
