In the game Stardew Valley, the player creates a customized character who inherits their late grandfather's farm in the cozy village of Stardew Valley. After abandoning their stressful and disheartening life in the city, the player sets out with nothing but a handful of coins and a couple of old tools to begin a journey of building their own personal country-life paradise. From renovating the farm, raising animals, and growing crops, to learning skills, exploring dangers, and nurturing their relationships with villagers, Stardew Valley allows players to live out their days in a relaxed lifestyle of their own unique design.
Stardew Valley was officially released to the public for Windows on February 26th, 2016 and has seen many ports, fixes, and content releases since then.
